Scott Smith

Scott is an artist who takes fine art  to heart. He prides himself on sculpting and fine painting. Scott holds a certificate in Commercial Art, attended PCA&D for Graphic Design and Fine Art, then moved on to Millersville University to continue his knowledge in Art Education. Scott has created several freelance pieces over the last few years, and enjoys challenges. He has over 22 years experience in many mediums such as airbrushing, sculpting, and painting, Scott began working with cake and sugar mediums in late 2008. Finding them to be very similar to mediums he has perfected, he began experimenting and found the best ways to use edible materials to produce amazing cakes!  Scott enjoys the challenge of taking a fragile medium such as cake and turning it into a 3-D form that amazes people’s curiosity as to “How’d he do that?” and “Is that really a cake?” Anything’s possible and the challenge of creating these cakes is very rewarding to Scott.
